24/7 Burn

The meeting is for the community at large. It is a mini-Burn informational meeting. It's purpose is to model the Burn, cast vision and see if there is interest in the community to start a Wilkes based Burn. We will model the Burn with two different crews from Hickory and Winston, and have an explanation of the Burn and a question/answer session. Probably 7-9 or 9:30 approximately.

The Mission

The mission is to plant a sustainable furnace of 24-7-365 worship, prayer and supernatural explosive outreach, releasing a sound of indigenous, vertical, creative worship in every community, people group, city and nation in the world.

What's a typical Burn event like:

Non-stop live worship: Teams of worshippers, musicians, artists and intercessors fill two-hour blocks to worship, pray and create.

Vertical Worship: The purpose of the Burn is to minister to the Lord and create an atmosphere for encounter. Typically, the worship leader doesn’t engage those in attendance as a normal corporate setting. You will often experience worshippers journaling, studying, praying, painting as well as singing along with the worship teams.

Spontaneous/Prophetic: Much of the worship will be creative, spontaneous and prophetic songs and melodies (Psalm 96).

The Arts and Creativity: Our desire is to create and atmosphere where high levels of creativity can come forth. You will often see painters, dancers, and writers creating during the Burn. We often set up art stations for people to express their worship through creative mediums.
